Cambridge shingles
Long-lasting roof protection
IKO Cambridge shingles (Cambridge Xtreme 9,5° and Cambridge Xpress) are laminated architectural asphalt shingles designed for residential pitched roofs. The term “laminated” means that the shingle’s construction consists of two or more basic shingles laminated or bonded together. Cambridge shingles are double layer bitumen roof shingles which combine a classic, architectural style with long-lasting performance, ideal for new builds, renovations and roof replacements.
Why choose IKO Cambridge shingles?

Protection against heavy weather
Cambridge shingles are manufactured with high-quality materials that withstand wind-driven rains and typical European weather conditions.
Take a look at the following video. Cambridge Xtreme 9.5° shingles have been tested at both standard roof slopes (25°) and low slopes (9.5°), resisting wind speeds of up to 200 km/h without failure.
Glass fiber reinforcement and bitumen saturation
Thanks to more than 70 years of shingle expertise, Cambridge shingles are produced using materials that meet and exceed European roofing standards:
- Glass fiber inlay: A waterproof material, known for its high tear resistance and nail tear resistance capabilities
- Bitumen: the glass fiber is saturated with bitumen, resulting in a very stable material for roof covering
- Colored granules: Fine granules applied to the shingle surface have a double function. They offer a UV protection of the bitumen substrate and create an appealing look for the shingle.
