Při pokládce šestihranného hexagonálního šindele (např. ArmourShield PLUS nebo Superglass Hex) můžete hřeben nebo nároží vyrobit vyřezáním šestihranného šindele nebo obdélníkového šindele (Armourglass PLUS) ve stejné barvě.

Mnoho pokrývačů nechce dokupovat další druhy šindelů na pokládku nároží a hřebene a využívají k instalaci tvar šestihranného šindele, který pak ale nemusí odpovídat vkusu uživatele. Ukážeme Vám další způsob instalace, který se Vám může zamlouvat více.

When using IKO bitumen roof shingles in combination with the best techniques, the renovations of a worn out shingle roof becomes a mostly simple and inexpensive job. Before starting off any project, first check out whether the existing roof shingle layer could remain in place or has to be removed. Depending on local building codes at least three layers of roof shingles can be applied before stripping off the roof shingles is necessary.

When considering how to shingle a valley with architectural shingles (Cambridge Xpress and Cambridge Xtreme), you must take into account their thickness and reduced flexibility. Laminated shingles are more liable to create bumps in woven valleys. Often they are too thick to be woven at all. Therefor IKO does not recommend installing a woven valley with laminated shingles.
